In order to re-enforce the awareness of the Vedas in the contemporary society, Ärsha Vidyä Vikäs Kendra organized a National Conference on various aspects of Vedic Studies.
The 2-day National Conference by Ärsha Vidyä Vikäs Kendra was held on 7th and 8th March 2009. The theme was ‘Re-appreciation of Vedic Studies’
Twenty-two Delegates and Research Scholars participated in the Conference. Seventeen papers were presented in English, and five in Sanskrit over the over the two days.

Brahmacäris from a local Vedapäthasälä chanted portions from Rgveda, Sukla Yajurveda, Sämaveda and Atharvaveda on the Inaugural as well as the Valedictory sessions. Vastram and Upavastram were distributed to all the Brahmacäris.
There was a Book-Release event of ‘Bhägavata Galpamälä’ authored by Prof. Prafulla K Mishra.
